I follow way to many “eff yeah” tumblrs or “lets look at picture after picture of books” tumblrs, etc.

This is actually kinda freeing, you know?  Like … my parents aren’t reading it so I can say whatever I want.  Example:

I’m basically a lesbian.  But if I told that to my mom she’d want to know how that works being married and then I’d have to explain that I’m desperately in love with my husband and that won’t change but in general I tend to go more for girls and as liberal and open minded as she is, that would blow her mind.  And I don’t even want to know what my dad would say.  I’d tell them if I were single - but right now it would just bring too many conversations that I don’t want to have.
